BIOGRAPHY

Pianist Lindsey Greer is a classically trained artist who has delighted audiences of all kinds in church and university settings. She was born in Charlotte, NC and began playing piano at the age of 7 years old. She has studied with Latta Jelen of Concord, NC, piano prodigy and Juilliard School of Music graduate Betty Williams, and Bosendorfer Concert Artist and UNC Charlotte’s associate professor of piano Dr. Dylan Savage. In 2018, Lindsey finished her minor degree in piano performance at UNC Charlotte, playing pieces ranging from Jim Brickman to Bach and Chopin.

Lindsey began her professional music career in high school where she served as the teen mass pianist for St. James the Greater Catholic Church, playing for church services, weddings, and funerals. She also had a role in award winning musical productions, such as “Hairspray” the musical, where she played in the pit orchestra. Lindsey was an active member in the music department in high school, serving as drum major for the Pride of Robinson Marching Band and saxophonist for the jazz band, symphonic band, and concert band.

Today, Lindsey loves to share her passion for music at weddings and special events. As a future nurse practitioner, she hopes to be able to add music to her every day patient encounters. Music is an essential part of human existence. Listening to music leaves a major impact on each one of us. It can boost your mood, reduce stress and improve your health and overall well-being.
